Working With Us
How does an engagement typically start?

We start with a conversation about what you need. Then we scope the work and send you a proposal with the approach, timeline, and deliverables. Every engagement is built to your situation, not a template.

How long does a typical engagement take?

We provide a realistic estimate for delivery once we understand what you need. Research projects, training programs, and assessments involve different types of work, so each moves at a different pace. The scoping conversation is where we discuss timing expectations so you know exactly what to expect. You'll have a clear picture of the timeline before the engagement begins.

Do you work with clients outside the United States?

Yes. We work with international organizations across research, training, and advisory engagements. We've conducted research in multiple regions and languages, designed training programs for international teams, and assessed intelligence programs across borders. Legal requirements and cultural context shift when you're operating internationally, and we factor those into every type of work we do.

What does pricing look like?

We scope and price each engagement individually based on complexity, timeline, and deliverables. We're happy to discuss budget expectations early in the conversation so we can design an approach that works for your organization.

Our Services
What's the difference between OSINT research and an investigation?

Both types of work draw on open-source intelligence methods, but they serve different purposes. Intelligence research produces analytical products that inform decisions: risk assessments, geopolitical monitoring, competitive analysis. Investigative work focuses on a defined subject or event, establishing facts for due diligence, legal proceedings, accountability, or threat assessment. Pangea Research conducts both, and many engagements combine elements of each depending on what you need.

What kinds of training do you offer?

We design and teach custom programs across intelligence tradecraft, investigative methods, AI integration, and evidence standards. Formats include single-topic workshops, multi-day programs, train-the-trainer tracks, and custom certification development. We also write curriculum for organizations that teach it internally with their own staff. We build every program around your mission requirements and your team's starting point.

Can you help us build an OSINT program from scratch?

Yes. Pangea Research designs and builds in-house intelligence programs covering policy frameworks, methodology standards, tool selection, tradecraft doctrine, and quality control. We build every program to hold up in court and regulatory review from day one. We also audit existing programs against tradecraft and evidentiary standards, identifying where tools are substituting for tradecraft or where processes wouldn't survive legal challenge. Both engagements produce written deliverables you can put in front of leadership, regulators, or outside counsel.

Do you provide tools or software?

It depends on what your engagement requires. In some cases we source and facilitate tool acquisition directly; in others, recommendations are the deliverable and procurement is yours to handle. Either way, we don't carry partnerships or vendor relationships that influence what we recommend. Every evaluation starts with your requirements, your operational context, and your budget.

About Pangea Research
Why the name Pangea Research?

The name comes from Pangea, the ancient supercontinent that once unified all of Earth's landmasses into a single connected whole. It reflects what good intelligence work does: pulling together diverse, scattered streams of information into one coherent picture that supports real decisions. The intelligence and investigative challenges our clients face rarely arrive from a single, clean source; they require synthesis across fragmented, incomplete, and sometimes contradictory information. That same principle applies whether we're running an investigation, building a governance framework, or designing a training program.

What makes Pangea different from other OSINT firms?

Pangea Research combines investigations, AI and intelligence governance advisory, and training under one firm, holding every engagement to the same evidentiary standard. We built our methodology in environments where findings had to hold up in court, before international bodies, and in congressional proceedings. Every deliverable sources every claim: investigations to the records behind each finding, governance frameworks to the regulations they address, training materials to the doctrine they teach. We're a boutique firm by design, and every client works directly with a senior practitioner throughout.
